THE 2020 WAC AWARDS

2020 was an unusual year for everyone - WAC included - so thank you to all our exhibitors, selectors, prize givers, sponsors and supporters for making the 2020 exhibition so successful!

For its 2020 edition, Wells Art Contemporary received a record-breaking number of entries from 50 different countries around the world. Out of all the submissions, 128 pieces by 122 artists were shortlisted by our selectors, renowned artists Lisa Wright, Neville Gabie and Phillip Allen – making Wells Art Contemporary an exhibition of the very best in contemporary art. Thanks to funding from Arts Council England we were able to host a fully virtual exhibition including all the 2020 works, a community room showcasing local arts projects and an online shop. And with the generous support of our prize givers a number of exhibitors took home variety of fantastic awards. Many thanks to our prize givers and supporters - Howden Group (formerly RK Harrison), Andelli Art, JGM Gallery, Somerset Art Works, NG Art Creative, Parker Harris and Chubb Bulleid.
